Hands down the most difficult obstacle I have faced in my career was the 13 months after I tore my ACL. I tore my ACL April 2018, a month before graduation and what would have been my professional career beginning.
Starting at the age of 5 with her brother by her side, Emily started playing golf. Her family lived on a golf course in Elk Grove, California where she grew up. After the Conference Championships her senior year of college she tore her ACL. She had to have surgery and was in intensive physical therapy for nine and half months after surgery. Emily returned to golf in March 2019 with a new optimistic outlook on her golfing career. If Emily can win the tournament or play three consecutive solid rounds to gain back her confidence, she believes this could be a turning point in her career.
